Chapter 1

Problem

Problem

Problem

Creating an application for patients that will integrate with other existing systems in the hospital complex. From scheduling appointments and tracking therapy to purchasing parking and a virtual assistant to help patients find their doctor's office, including AI functions.

And all this in a 12-day window.

Chapter 2

Delivery

For the tender, we provided a fully functional prototype and a short app walkthrough video, as well as a number of mockups to better illustrate the application in everyday use.

Retrospective

Retrospective

A very cool project that seemed easy at first glance, but contained many elements that had to be taken into account and incorporated into the whole. It was good to use the new "Play" tool, which allowed me to gain new skills and deliver the "wow" factor to the client.

A short period of time, such as two weeks, imposes certain constraints on the final output.

Lessons

  • Play is a great tool for designing native iOS applications, and it is worth keeping in mind for this type of project.

  • A prototype can significantly improve the quality of a project in the eyes of the client, distinguishing it from other projects that are often only lo-fi.

  • The project that is best in the eyes of the client does not always win the tender :)

Tradeoffs

  • Sacrificing wireframing to save time.

  • Abandoning preliminary design in Figmia to immediately build a rich prototype in "Play."
